Assembled by Qorun wind scouts from the flexible prod of a longwatch arbalest tipped with chillsting raptor plumage. It keeps pursuers at bay, hurling encroaching foes backward while numbing their limbs with freezing gales.

Appearance

A wide recurved longbow combining flexible yew limbs with a central steel arbalest guide channel and wind-hardened horn nocks. Bundles of white raptor plumage are fastened along the outer recurves with waxed sinew, permanently dusted in cold rime. Held by a thick corded leather grip, the weapon displays worn lacquer sunbursts, releasing howling shockwaves of compressed wind and freezing mist that fling encroaching assailants backward.
