Lore
Bound by Skaldhavn hunters from white hawk feathers soaked in glacier brine. The frost-laced plumage numbs the limbs of struck prey, choking restorative bloodflow with biting frost.
Appearance
Three narrow vane feathers plucked from an arctic raptor, bound tightly with waxed sinew around a blackened bone sleeve. Pale blue hoarfrost clings to the barbs, while the quill shafts bear tiny scrimshaw tally marks. Slipped onto the nock of an arrow or bolt, the chilled plumage trails a dusting of freezing snow and pale vapor in flight.
