Effects

Active

Rime Arrow

Shoot the most dangerous enemy within 9m: 143 (+100% ATK) physical damage, a 1.2s freeze, then a 35% slow for 2s.

  • Cooldown 16s
  • Range 9m

Unique Passive

Rimewound

Attacks slow the target by 37% for 1.7s and cut its healing received by 40% for 2.75s.

How it works
  • 18% crit chance: that share of basic attacks crit for x 1.75 damage (at the base +75% crit damage), so basic attacks deal x 1.14 on average. Skills never crit; at most 100%.
  • Crits deal x 1.97 damage (the base +75% plus 22%): a 100 damage attack crits for 197.

Lore

Carved by Skaldfell rangers from a Qorun composite longwatch arbalest bound with chillsting fletching. Its frost-rimed arrows numb the flesh of advancing enemies and freeze dangerous vanguard warlords in solid glacial ice.

Appearance

A towering recurved greatbow crafted from dark mountain yew and polished horn, reinforced with blackened steel brackets from an arbalest prod. Arctic raptor vane feathers bound in frosted bone sleeves decorate both limb tips, encrusted with pale hoarfrost. Braced with a thick leather riser grip, the heavy bow bears scrimshaw tally marks along the guide belly, shooting freezing white vapor and azure rime sparks with every concussive release.
