Lore

Constructed by Qezhar astrolabe mages by mounting a polished Serravel quartz lens onto a Tharumbra curse urn. It projects focused clouds of malevolent ash, sapping enemy strength while exposing their flesh to ruin.

Appearance

A melon-sized earthenware censer bound in an iron wire cage, fitted with a notched brass collar holding a thick quartz magnifying lens over its upper chimney. The rough grey ceramic body is stained with soot and inscribed with weathered tomb marks. Carried by a heavy bronze chain or hooked to the hip, the thurible projects a focused cone of sickly green light and creeping ash smoke that leaves frost on nearby ground.
