Lore

Assembled in Cheongmae by apostate monks who hung discordant bronze chimes beneath an earthenware curseveil thurible. Its creeping ash weakens enemy cohorts while maddening chimes drive stricken foes into a blind, fratricidal frenzy.

Appearance

A soot-stained ceramic thurible bound in an iron wire cage, mounting a thick quartz lens above three hanging bronze bells of uneven length. The verdigris bell skirts are scratched with blasphemous verses and fitted with dangling bone clappers. Carried by a heavy bronze link chain, the macabre incense burner projects beams of sickly viridian light and burning ash, rattling with a discordant drone that produces shimmering distortion ripples in the air.
