Lore

Inscribed by Valcaris oath-smiths upon beaten star-iron plates using martyr blood. It defies the toll of the grave, snatching sworn champions back from fatal blows to rekindle their beating hearts.

Appearance

A curved rectangular gorget fashioned from dull black star-iron with polished silver rims. Deeply engraved oath vows cover the collar face, filled with dried crimson enamel that catches the light. Fastened snugly around the throat with twin leather buckles, the heavy neck guard pulses with a steady crimson heartbeat and emits a soft protective shimmer when struck.
