Lore

Enshrined in Hwaryun by pyre keepers who placed a smoldering phoenix ember into an amber hourstone reliquary from the Skyroot. It freezes mortal flesh in impervious stone during fatal peril and rekindles life after death.

Appearance

A heavy chest reliquary crafted from banded brass plates and thick slabs of fossilized golden amber, housing an undying ruby cinder within an intricate cage of brass feathers. The amber exterior displays ancient insect inclusions and polished hexagonal facets. Suspended across the chest by thick leather harness belts, the reliquary radiates soothing blood-warmth, crystalizing the wielder in motionless amber during mortal peril before reigniting life in roaring crimson flame.
