Lore

Built in the Ashen Wastes by Chainforge engineers from an incandescent cinderheart coal and a gravechain hook. It launches barbed iron grapples to drag formidable champions directly into a ring of suffocating furnace fire.

Appearance

A heavy war harness of cured green troll hide mounted with a steel cable winch and a hanging bronze brazier cage. Inside the slotted cage burns a jagged lump of volcanic basalt, glowing incandescent orange through mineral crusts. Clamped above the brazier sits a three-pronged iron grappling hook with reverse saw teeth. Buckled over the cuirass by brass latches, the apparatus vents pungent sulfur smoke, firing chained hooks to drag quarry inward.
