Tailored by Cheongmae dawn weavers from salted linen mantles and mounted with a radiant barrier prism. It senses the distress of wounded companions, unfurling shimmering sunlit domes to shelter allies from incoming storm blows.

Appearance

A sweeping mantle of bleached linen cloth bordered with deep azure wave embroidery, fastened across the collarbone by twin bronze clasps. At the breast rests an apple-sized hexagonal prism of milky white crystal cradled inside an open brass frame. Draped broadly over shoulders and cuirass, the hem bears travel dust while the central crystal radiates a warm golden halo that flares into an amber dome when allies falter.
