Lore

Polished by dawn priests of Cheongmae from luminous calcite crystals found near the Sealed Gate. It detects distress among brothers in arms, erecting shimmering domes of solid sunlight to protect the wounded.

Appearance

A hexagonal prism of milky white crystal roughly the size of an apple, cradled within an open brass frame. The crystalline faces display gentle cloudy striations and polished geometric edges without a single blemish. Anchored to a breastplate by twin bronze clasps or held aloft, the prism continuously sheds a warm golden halo, flaring into a bright sunburst of amber radiance whenever nearby companions take heavy blows.
