Lore

Forged in Cheongmae by monastery weavers who mounted a soundless obsidian hushveil pendant into the radiant crystal of an aegis of tides. It nullifies targeted sorcery and raises shimmering shields against enemy spells.

Appearance

A broad pavise shield surfaced with bleached linen fabric and azure wave embroidery, reinforced along the rim with beaten brass plate. At the center of the wooden boss rests a hexagonal crystal prism clasping a tear-shaped matte black obsidian stone inside silver filigree. Held by double padded leather forearm straps, the shield drinks ambient sound, flaring with an amber dome of quiet magical dampening whenever hostile sorcery strikes.
