Lore

Carved by Hadrunn cinder tenders from charred Ashen ironwood and living Skyroot heartwood. Driven into earth, it radiates choking sulphur smoke and burning heat, punishing enemy formations while hindering their advance.

Appearance

A forearm-length ritual effigy fashioned from charred black ironwood lashed to a living green heartwood stake with flexible vine tendrils. A sphere of raw volcanic brimstone sits in the hollowed crown, oozing hot amber sap down carved bark grooves. Plunged into the soil by a spiked bronze ferrule, the totem vents pungent grey fumes and casts a flickering orange glow that slows nearby adversaries.
