Lore

Blessed by Valcaris hierophants by mounting consecrated silver sigils onto Hollow March traveler boots. When mortal wounds threaten, it cleanses debilitating hexes and envelops the runner in an impenetrable ward of celestial grace.

Appearance

A pair of knee-high marching boots made from weathered brown cowhide, banded down each calf with embossed Valcaris silver lames featuring inlaid sapphire eyes. Dual rows of iron hobnails stud the mud-stained soles, fastened with heavy rawhide laces. Worn securely over wool wraps, the footwear feels astonishingly light, radiating a brilliant sapphire halo that flares into an impervious defensive aura when enemy hexes strike.
