Lore

Carved by Hadrunn cinder shamans in the Ashen Wastes from petrified ironwood and smoldering brimstone. Planted into ash, it summons swirling heat and choking smoke that scorches clustered armies while sapping their stride.

Appearance

A forearm-length ritual stake carved from charred ironwood, tapered to a spiked bronze ferrule at the base for driving into dirt. Grotesque flame effigies are etched into the blackened bark, cradling a burning sphere of volcanic brimstone at the crest. Stored strapped to a warrior harness by rawhide cords, the totem constantly vents bitter grey fumes and casts a flickering orange glow across the ground when deployed.
