Headsman's Due
Chop the weakest enemy within 6m below 35% HP: 153 pure damage plus 28% of its missing HP.
- Cooldown 18s
- Range 6m
How it works
- 13% crit chance: that share of basic attacks crit for x 1.75 damage (at the base +75% crit damage), so basic attacks deal x 1.1 on average. Skills never crit; at most 100%.
- 16% armor penetration: the hero's physical damage counts only 84% of the target's armor (a share, not a flat amount). Against 200 armor 37.3% of a hit lands instead of 33.3% (x 1.12 damage); against 50, 70.4% instead of 66.7% (x 1.06). Penetration from several sources adds up, at most 100%; it does nothing to 0 or negative armor.

Lore
Ground by Barrow Census executioners from a pit-iron cleaver and a knapped Skaldfell flint blade. It hungers for mortal failure, delivering a merciless decapitating blow that ends wounded enemies on the threshold of death.
Appearance
A heavy short-hafted hatchet combining a broad rectangular head of pitted black iron with a razor beard knapped from glossy black river flint. The thick iron spine carries notched execution tallies, while the stone cutting edge remains gleaming and sharp. Fitted to an ash haft wrapped in wire and greasy leather, the weapon is gripped in one hand, radiating a cold grey mist that clings to fresh blood.
