Muting Brand

Silence the enemy with the most mana within 9.5m for 3.5s; after 3s it takes 84 magic damage plus 36% of the damage it took meanwhile.

  • Cooldown 15s
  • Range 9.5m

Unique Passive

Thrice Struck

Every 3 attacks, the attack deals 147 bonus pure damage.

How it works
  • 15% crit chance: that share of basic attacks crit for x 1.75 damage (at the base +75% crit damage), so basic attacks deal x 1.11 on average. Skills never crit; at most 100%.
  • Crits deal x 1.93 damage (the base +75% plus 18%): a 100 damage attack crits for 193.

Lore

Assembled by Valcaris rangers from an inquisitor hushbrand dagger and the geared mechanism of a thirdshot spur. It brands targets in stifling silence, gathering the agony of successive kinetic punctures before shattering them.

Appearance

A recurved composite hunting bow crafted from smoky meteoric glass and dark river flint, reinforced along the riser with interlocking steel spur cogs. A spring-loaded needle release clicks with each draw, showing fine oil residue along burnished gears. Held by a wire-bound sharkskin grip, the dark bow limbs display etched lead runes, discharging a sharp silver spark and silent violet mist when arrows loose.
