Lore

Crafted by Morvath blood tenders in Thornmere from a sanguine glass vial and living Skyroot heartwood. When the bearer bleeds near death, the vessel awakens predatory hunger to drain enemy life.

Appearance

A wide chalice fashioned from fibrous green heartwood, cradled in blackened iron filigree shaped like thorny brambles and strapped over a carved forearm splint. Inside the wooden cup sits an open teardrop basin of thick ruby glass, dripping with thick crimson sap. Bound to the arm with fibrous bark strips, the vessel pulses with rhythmic warmth, shedding scarlet glints and verdant embers as the wielder bleeds.
