Lore
A war drum carried by Morvath before his ascension to Marshal of the Host. Its pounding rhythm stokes an unending battle fever in front-line fighters, turning sustained slaughter into revitalizing blood.
Appearance
A stout marching drum framed in bleached whalebone ribs, covered with a thick batter head of dark crimson-stained sea-drake hide. Heavy sinew tension cords lace the skin to iron rim hooks, showing salt crusting and dark stains from dried blood. Carved naval tally notches mark the bone frame. Strapped firmly against the torso with wide leather harness belts, the drum is struck with a weighted whalebone stick tipped with hardened leather.
