Legendary relic
Usurper's Crown
Effect
Your highest-level hero (then highest exp, then most items) is crowned: +50% max HP, ATK and spell amp. Other heroes lose 10% max HP and ATK. If the crowned hero dies, your side deals 20% less damage for the rest of the fight.
Lore
A copy of the crown Orevan took, forged by rebels to learn its weight. Whoever wears it grows terrible, and the rest of the band grows small.
Appearance
An eight-inch circlet forged from rough, hammer-beaten black iron, bordered with tarnished strips of pale gold leaf. Six uneven spires of glossy black obsidian project upward from the brow, their sharp tips chipped and dark. The inner iron band is stained with old oil and sweat, bearing crude chisel marks where the metal was resized. Rested upon the brow or gripped with both hands, the crown feels stiflingly heavy, casting cold purple-tinted shadows over the wearer's face.
