Phalanx Manual
Effect
At the start of a fight, each hero gains +6 armor and +8% ATK for every ally within 4m.
Lore
The battle drill manual of the Augusta's Porphyry Guard, carried up the mountain by a defecting captain. It binds tight ranks together into an unyielding bastion of interlocking iron.
Appearance
A thick, rectangular military drill codex bound between two plates of beaten sheet-iron with brass corner guards. Its heavy vellum pages are dyed imperial porphyry purple, filled with tactical diagrams of shield walls drawn in dark rust ink. The iron covers bear scratches, weapon dints, and greasy thumbprints along the borders. Secured with a stout buckled leather strap, this heavy manual hangs from a ring on an officer sword belt.
