An iron medallion engraved with the fatal vow of the Montvelle garrison. It trades the comfort of healing salves for reckless desperation, turning bleeding wounds into terrifying bursts of destructive strength.
Appearance
A palm-sized shield-shaped medallion beaten from rough dark forge-iron, left unpolished with heavy hammer marks and pitted charcoal textures. Its front face is deeply incised with a rough chiseled garrison vow, scored by deep diagonal weapon scratches and notched rims from parried blows. The metal is cold and severe, devoid of any ornament. Suspended by a heavy blackened iron link chain through a top hole, it hangs securely over a fighter breastplate or collar.
