Lore

Pleated by Hakurai tempest-callers from salted Serravel linen and carved conch talismans. A sweep of its vanes releases a spiraling gale from the upper skies, suspending hostile spellcasters in a helpless, whirling vortex.

Appearance

A wide folding war fan crafted from bleached linen leaves stiffened with salt brine, mounted on carved ribs of smooth conch shell and driftwood. Pewter wire bindings hold the pivot, while pale blue waves are embroidered across the pleated fabric. Held in one hand by a seagrass cord wrap, the fan rustles with oceanic drafts, throwing out translucent cyclone gusts that scoop enemy magicians into the sky.
