Lore

Assembled by Qorun scouts by mounting mire boar bone barbs onto a Chainforge steel arbalest. It hurls armor-piercing quarrels across vast distances, shredding enemy fortifications and sundering heavy plate with every brutal shot.

Appearance

An imposing siege crossbow featuring a composite prod of dark mountain yew and polished horn bolted to a blackened steel tiller. Reverse-facing yellow bone barbs bristle along the copper-banded bolt channel, which cradles a heavy ash quarrel with a four-flanged steel tip. Braced against the shoulder with an iron-rimmed rest and gripped with both hands, the heavy tiller displays worn lacquer sunbursts, discharging concussive snaps and sparks that shatter enemy plate into splinters.
