Active

Croaking Curse

Hex the most dangerous enemy within 8.5m into a toad for 2.5s: it cannot attack or cast.

  • Cooldown 24.5s
  • Range 8.5m

Unique Passive

Spellward Breach

Skills that hit an enemy strip 19 magic resist for 4s.

How it works
  • 9% cooldown reduction: skill and item active cooldowns x 0.91, so a 20s cooldown takes 18.2s. Sources add up, at most 50%; relic cuts (Chronal Sandglass, Tinker's Gearbox) multiply after that.
  • 13% magic resist penetration: the hero's magic damage counts only 87% of the target's magic resist (a share, not a flat amount). Against 200 magic resist 36.5% of a hit lands instead of 33.3% (x 1.09 damage); against 50, 69.7% instead of 66.7% (x 1.05). Penetration from several sources adds up, at most 100%; it does nothing to 0 or negative magic resist.

Lore

Inscribed in Qezhar by heretic scholars using spiral conch shells and corrosive dragon gall scrolls. It unravels protective wards with offensive spells, transfiguring proud enemy champions into helpless, croaking amphibians.

Appearance

A shepherd crook carved from bleached sea driftwood and wrapped in indigo calfskin, crowned by a spiraling ivory conch shell cradled in pewter wire. Charred parchment ribbons inscribed in purple dragon gall flutter from the neck beneath a black wax unwriting seal. Held in one hand by a seagrass cord grip, the staff exhales damp sea drafts and acrid ozone, casting violet whorls that warp enemy leaders.
