Lore

Assembled in Serravel by veteran armorsmiths from dusk-drake scales and venomous ironbriar quills. It encases the wearer in a bristling redoubt, deflecting hostile blows back into assailants while showering attackers in festering poison.

Appearance

A massive breastplate forged from overlapping charcoal dusk-drake scales, bolted together with domed bog iron rivets and draped in interlaced ironbriar bines. Hundreds of black porcupine quills and curving drake spines jut outward from the collar and pauldrons, glistening with sour green venom. Secured across the ribs by stout leather belts, the dark cuirass bristles menacingly, flaring with an indigo metallic glare that punishes melee strikes.
