Lore
Cast by Chainforge armorsmiths from folded crucible steel and molten cinder. They protect the shoulders of front-line sentinels, enduring siege barrages and bolstering the endurance of the wearer.
Appearance
A pair of flanged shoulder plates beaten from dark crucible steel, featuring tiered lames that overlap down the upper arm. The upper ridges are scalloped and bearing deep battle dents and grind marks from repelled halberds. Fastened across the collarbone by a heavy blackened leather harness, the dull steel surfaces show dark temper stains and gleam with a faint defensive silver edge.
