How it works
  • 12% armor penetration: the hero's physical damage counts only 88% of the target's armor (a share, not a flat amount). Against 200 armor 36.2% of a hit lands instead of 33.3% (x 1.09 damage); against 50, 69.4% instead of 66.7% (x 1.04). Penetration from several sources adds up, at most 100%; it does nothing to 0 or negative armor.

Lore

Honed by Malakar spell-breakers from void-tempered star-metal and an iridescent void glass shard. It cleaves through celestial enchantments, burning away enemy mana reserves with each sweeping stroke to sunder magical shields completely.

Appearance

A long two-handed poleaxe mounting a broad crescent blade of matte grey star-metal, backed by a jagged flint hook and a razor sliver of iridescent purple void glass. Coarse copper wire binds the pulsing amethyst crystal to the blackened socket above a rawhide-wrapped ash shaft. Swung with both hands in wide sweeps, the weapon rejects dirt, trailing cold violet wisps that violently devour enemy wards and mana.
