Lore
Bound by Skaldfell saga singers from vellum steeped in glacial meltwater. Its frozen verses chill hostile vitality, encasing struck foes in clinging frost whenever incantations strike.
Appearance
A compact manuscript bound between two thin slabs of pale birch wood, wrapped in stiff white vellum. The manuscript edges are permanently crusted with sparkling blue frost, and the handwritten pages inside bear pale azure runes. Secured to the hip by a leather harness with bone toggle clasps, the folio emits a faint swirl of snowflakes whenever spells are cast.
