Lore

Quarried in the Drowned Reach from abyssal magnetite and carved with Skaldfell chert blades. It anchors the soul to a chosen earth glyph, snapping the wielder across battlefields when mortal peril looms.

Appearance

A rectangular block of matte black lodestone bound in verdigris-stained bronze plates and set with a razor spike of knapped black flint. Four short lengths of sea-rusted iron chain coil around the stone body, wet with cold saltwater. Carried at the belt by a stiff rawhide harness, the heavy lodestone hums with gravitational pull, shedding bright azure sparks that anchor a tether to the ground before snapping the bearer backward.
