A walking crust of obsidian around trapped fire that hauls ore and patrols the outer walls of the Chainforge. Born from the fire vents deep in the Skyroot, it strikes intruders with heavy magma fists, splashes molten rock across the ground and soaks up punishing blows in its smouldering shell.

Animated by elemental heat deep in the Skyroot, the magma crag patrols the Chainforge walls as a tireless guardian of stone and flame. Shifting its heavy, smoking frame of black obsidian, it pulls back a fist of glowing orange basalt. It slams the molten club into the earth before it, crushing armor under raw volcanic weight and splashing bright sparks across the shattered stone.

The magma crag is an animated volcanic construct standing eight feet tall, formed from a walking crust of cooled obsidian surrounding trapped Skyroot fire. It has a faceted, angular humanoid torso of glassy black volcanic stone, a jagged stony crest for a head, and a vertical fissure down its face glowing with brilliant orange magma. Its hide is composed of dense, interlocking plates of black obsidian and porous grey pumice, lined with deep glowing veins of liquid rock that pulse across its chest. It strikes intruders using heavy fists of molten basalt, slamming them into the earth to crush defenses and splash pools of liquid stone across the field. Shimmering heat waves and bright orange sparks pop continuously from its obsidian joints. Palette: obsidian black, volcanic orange, pumice grey. Silhouette hook: an angular, faceted obsidian golem pulsing with bright magma fissures across its torso.
