A warm hearthstone pried from Hestrel's oven before the goddess turned to burning debtor homes. It warms cold camps under mountain overhangs, speeding the mending of flesh and homeward strides.
Appearance
A rectangular hearthstone slab roughly the size of a loaf, hewn from rough ash-grey basalt. Its surface is blackened by old cooking soot and scored by prybar marks along one chipped edge, yet its porous core glows with deep orange and vermilion light. It continuously emits a comforting campfire warmth that softens chill mountain winds. Carried wrapped in coarse wool sacking inside a pack, it rests flat upon camp soil.
