Lore
The smiling brass idol of the High Bursar of the Heavenly Court. It bends merchant scales toward generosity and extracts extra imperial tribute from every broken servant on the path.
Appearance
A palm-sized seated idol cast from solid brass and plated in rich yellow gold leaf. It portrays a smiling bursar with folded sleeves, a round belly, and miniature abacus beads lining the robe hems. The gold is rubbed down to red brass along the knees and cheeks from frequent handling. Carried in a velvet drawstring purse or gripped directly in hand, the dense idol gleams with a warm, oily golden sheen in ambient light.
