Legendary relic
Chronostone
Effect
Every ultimate your heroes cast freezes enemies within 3 m of its target for 1.25 s; the first one in each fight freezes them for 2.5 s.
Lore
A fragment of the celestial pivot that Orevan nailed still nine centuries ago. Releasing a hero's supreme art vibrates the stone, locking nearby enemies into pockets of frozen, motionless time.
Appearance
A seven-inch jagged crystal shard sheared from cosmic basalt, displaying smoky violet transparency shot through with glittering silver flecks. One flank retains smooth, curved lapidary polishing from the celestial pivot, while the opposite side shows rough, razor-sharp fracture planes. Ambient dust motes and drifting moisture freeze motionless in the air near its surface. Bound in a harness of cold star-iron wire, this weightless stone is carried hooked to a warrior baldric or held directly in hand.
