Appearance

A slender musical pipe fashioned from dried sea reed, bleached pale bone-white by salt water and sun. Seven neatly drilled tone holes run along the top, bound with fine silver wire at each joint. Slung about the neck on a braided kelp cord, the reed pipe emits a faint, sorrowful drone that leaves shimmering water ripples drifting through the air.
