Hunter's Rhythm

Each enemy that dies within 3s of a hit from the hero grants 7% ATK for the fight (up to 5 times); a kill resets the hero's item active cooldown.

How it works
  • 17% armor penetration: the hero's physical damage counts only 83% of the target's armor (a share, not a flat amount). Against 200 armor 37.6% of a hit lands instead of 33.3% (x 1.13 damage); against 50, 70.7% instead of 66.7% (x 1.06). Penetration from several sources adds up, at most 100%; it does nothing to 0 or negative armor.

Lore

Carved by Skaldfell berserkers from whale ribs and blackened dragon teeth. It records every fallen enemy in blood notches, reinvigorating the killer with savage battle fury and refreshed relics.

Appearance

A flat rectangular bone slat roughly eight inches long, carved from dense narwhal ivory and stained with dark brown soot. Dozens of fresh crimson notches are hacked into the beveled edges with a hunting knife. Fastened to the warrior belt with rawhide cords, the talisman rattles with bloodthirsty eagerness and emits a brief scarlet flare when an enemy falls.
